They're not updated very frequently, so it's hard to say for sure what's new. The only blog that I'm aware of that's updated weekly is Tijuana-Tampa Travel. There's quite a lot of content on this blog, and it's always worth checking out. If you want to know how to do a great cross-country trip, the post below is a great place to start. You'll probably find this blog on the "new to me" blog list, and it may be just as popular as other travel blogs, but it's still a fairly new blog. They launched in late September of 2013, and were updated in March of 2014. The blog posts are written from the perspective of the gay male traveler, so a lot of them relate to gay male singles. They don't cover things like how to find love, or what gay men travel for, or the various gay dating apps, but they do cover the gay travel stuff, which is pretty important for a lot of gay men. I am in no way responsible for any of the things I say on this blog. I am only speaking as someone who knows gay men, and their travel, from personal experience. My main goal is to provide people with a sense of understanding and perspective on what it means to be gay in this world, and on the challenges that can face gay men. If you're reading this, you probably aren't exactly the type of person that enjoys traveling to other countries. You may be the kind of person that prefers to sleep on the streets in a touristy area and then hop on a bus to the next town, but that isn't what this is for. I would be lying if I told you that this isn't what I do. If you're looking for an explanation of why being gay in a culture that is very homophobic and very accepting of gays would feel so good, this post is for you. As always, feel free to send me an email to find out more.

I don't think I would be doing this if I was younger. Growing up I had a pretty sheltered life and didn't have the opportunity to be out to other people. Most of my friends were older, middle class, and my family was pretty good looking, but the one thing that didn't really matter was where my parents were going to live after high school. As soon as I was old enough to know that I would be staying in this house I had to be the first to know, because it would be the one I would never be able to leave, but I was lucky. As I became older and more comfortable in my own skin, I felt less pressured by people and more able to be myself, to not feel like I had to fit in. I can't even begin to tell you how much my family has grown. I remember my mom telling me that my dad had always been an artist, so I had this image of him as this quiet, unassuming guy, but now I realize that he's actually a super talented artist who writes beautiful books and paints beautiful landscapes. My brother was the first gay kid I've ever known, and now he's married with two kids. Now, there are a bunch of other gay guys who were around the same age in high school and have grown up and married and have children and some other friends.
