1. He was in the Philippines for a short time, and has been there since.
He visited the Philippines around 2 months ago, with his partner. We asked his partner for some advice on his first trip to the Philippines, and she responded: "There were lots of gay bars and clubs, but the biggest place was the nightclub on the corner of Alabang and N. They don't want to talk to me. They're like, 'I won't go to your country if you're not gay," he says. He's also never met another gay person from America.
"I feel like I'm being discriminated against in the Philippines and I've got nothing to gain by speaking up," he says. "I have nothing to hide. I'm just me. I don't care what you think about me." But this week, as he and his girlfriend were leaving to fly to Malaysia, the American asked, "How are you, Mommy?" and left an awkward look on her face. He says he doesn't know how to respond to the gesture and that it "doesn't really feel good." "It doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel like I'm being recognized for my sexuality," he says. "It feels like you're insulting me in some way. If they're going to treat you as a special, different person because of your sexuality, it would be a lot better if you just didn't act that way." The American tells THR he hopes his case "will send a message to all of our LGBT friends who may feel as though they can't be themselves in this world." He says he's been trying to connect with other gay men for years through his blog and is happy that this is starting to happen. "I feel like I have a place, where international cupid app I can just be myself and not be judged." He says the two are planning to get married, but first they've to sort out their finances. "I don't know if I'm going to be able to put out as much material as I wanted to," he says. "I'm gay chat room usa not ready for that yet."
He also has a few more things to say about the whole thing. "I'm hoping my case will just spark a conversation that maybe this is something that should be talked about more," he says. "Maybe there's someone out there who is not going through what I went through. I'm hoping this case will get people to talk about it. He has not received any responses yet from any of the sites he contacted, but is optimistic that someone might be interested in writing a book about his experience. "I want to tell people, 'I went through this, too.' I don't know if there's anyone else out there who went through it," he says. "Maybe if I just put out the information on here, maybe there will be some other guys who go through it who will be inspired to write a book."

"It's not a one-size-fits-all thing, it's an expression of people's needs."
